As noted here before, the Mexicans are reconsidering their policies toward marijuana in light of the recent legalization in Colorado and Washington state. This week, a leftist lawmaker has introduced a bill to legalize marijuana in Mexico. This particular bill is unlikely to go far, but its introduction is a sign of the times, just as the introduction of a marijuana-legalization bill by Ron Paul and Barney Frank earlier this year was good news and an indicator of what was to come.
