From what I have heard, it took Andrea Mitchell (a.k.a. Mrs. Greenspan) three times before she understood that Alan “The Maestro” was proposing marriage to her. Thus, she might have heard Alan tell her that the “bankster bailout” was rotten legislation, but failed to understand just what the heck Greenspan was saying.

Nah! Not possible.

By the way, I agree with Tom that The Maestro has been missing in action. It reminds me of what William Simon said about former New York Mayor John Lindsay when he was not in the city during NYC’s 1975 financial crisis, as he was acting in a movie. Maybe we need to notify the Tinseltown reporters to see if The Maestro shows up at Hollywood and Vine.
