Major News From New Jersey

Ron Paul Republican Murray Sabrin is now one candidate away from winning the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate in New Jersey. Citing health reasons, candidate Anne Evans Estabrook, a millionaire who planned to self-finance her campaign, dropped out of the race just days ago. That leaves Sabrin and machine GOP politician Joe Pennacchio as the remaining contenders. If Murray out-fundraises Pennacchio, he’ll then be one candidate — the 84-year-old Frank Lautenberg — away from the U.S. Senate.

And Murray is playing hardball.
