Lunar-tics on the Moon

The movie review of Nazis on the moon reminds me of an old cartoon — I believe it was from The New Yorker — that came out in the early days of the space program. As astronauts are emerging from their spaceship, Adolf Hitler comes running up to them seeking a warm embrace. His 1930s-era biplane is in the distance.

Might this film have been dedicated to Newt Gingrich, that GOP visionary who looks forward to a presidency in which the colonized moon will become the 51st state?
