And To Think That Mises Wasn’t Good Enough for NYU

New York University is offering not one, but two classes (one undergraduate, one graduate!!) next semester on the “very important” subject of the Occupy Wall Street movement. This from a university that never considered the greatest Austrian economist of all time, Ludwig Von Mises, worthy enough to hire on its own dime. Mises taught there for almost 24 years as a “visiting” professor; his salary was paid by various businessmen.

(I guess it’s understandable that NYU didn’t want to cough up any more money for someone to teach another economics class, considering that New York University was already offering classes for decades in Austrian “economics.”)
