Limbaugh’s Lame Excuses

Rush Limbaugh came up with one of his lamest excuses yet for the war (and the War Party). Recall that Iraq’s alleged “ties to terrorists” was one of the original rationales for the war. No such ties have been proven, of course, but wait! Limbaugh reads in the New York Times that some terrorists have recently entered Iraq to prey on the American occupiers. That’s good enough for Limbaugh. “See,” he said, “there ARE terrorists in Iraq,” ergo, the war was justified.

Rush was somewhat interesting and entertaining before he became a propaganda shill for the Republican Party, a.k.a., the statist/imperialist neocon cabal.
