Thanks, Lew, for pointing out the latest neocon overview of the presidential field. Brings back memories of ’08, in particular the bloggers who could think only in slogans. Have an idea that neither Newt Gingrich nor Joe Biden has, or dissent from the bipartisan foreign-policy establishment? Why, you must be crazy, hate “America,” believe lizard people are running the government (a theory which would indeed explain a lot), etc. For everyone knows that all reasonable opinions are to be found somewhere along the Gingrich-Biden continuum.
As for “aging,” Ron Paul (like all of us) is aging, but his movement sure isn’t — which is more than we can say for the neocons, whose events may as well be hosted by Lawrence Welk. (Do not write to denounce me; I like Lawrence Welk, though I did watch him with my grandmother.)
