Lawsuit to stop subsidies to corporations

I’ll be in Albany tomorrow (Monday) to file a lawsuit to stop about a billion dollars in illegal subsidies to corporations. Defendants include IBM and Bass Pro.

It’s based on the remnants of the Jeffersonian NY Constitution of 1846 PDF, which reacted against the “internal improvements” that went sour and left taxpayers holding the bag. (Has anything changed?)

I’ll be in front of the state capitol at noon for a press conference. Stop by and say hello.

Here’s the complaint in PDF form (or blog format).

I’m hoping this leads to similar lawsuits in all the states. I already have a lead in Alabama. Stay tuned.
