Laissez-Faire Books, RIP

Sad news that the bookseller is going out of business. Founded in the late 1960s by entrepreneur John Muller, his bookstore in Greenwich Village and catalog service were the first to specialize in libertarian works. I especially appreciated his interest in Austrian, antiwar, and anarchist literature. And the bookstore was a delight to visit.

Today, of course, for Austrian and libertarian works, there is the beautiful Diehl Bookstore at the Mises Institute in Auburn, Ala., and our booming web store.
