Keith Olbermann: Democrat in Denial

Keith Olbermann, one of the vast majority of Democrats who is in denial about Obama overseeing a third Bush term, has changed his nightly sign-off. It used to be: “That’s Countdown, for this, the 2,576th day since the previous president declared ‘Mission Accomplished’ in Iraq.” It is now: “And that is Countdown for this, the 34th day since the Deep Water Horizon oil spill disaster began. I’m Keith Olbermann. Good night and good luck.” (This is obviously a dig at a corporation, not the Blessed Obama.)

But Keith, I don’t recall ‘Mission Accomplished’ in Iraq” being accomplished yet under Barack Obama? Do you, Keith? Or even ‘Mission Accomplished’ in Afghanistan”? Or, how about Obama’s very own: ‘Mission Accomplished’ in Pakistan”? I guess to Democrats like Olbermann, so long as a beloved Democrat is massacring innocent foreign civilians, it’s okay. The “Republican” war has morphed into a “Democratic” war that is “not” about money, nor oil, nor bringing about the New World Order; it really, really, really is about “bringing democracy to the dark-skinned natives.”

I guess Keith & Co. have conveniently forgotten this statement from their current God-in-Chief:
