Kane vs. Keynesianism

Writes Glenn “Kane” Jacobs:

Last night I had dinner with a young man that I met through our local activist group.  Typical story.  He was raised a conservative (his father was a Navy veteran who joined the John Birch Society after retiring) who was disillusioned with politics.  Then he heard Ron Paul in one of the debates.  First his paradigm was challenged, then he realized that Ron was the only one who knew what he was talking about.  Upon hearing Ron talk about Mises he discovered you guys.  Last night we talked about Rothbard, Austrian economics, and anarcho-capitalism for three hours!!  It was heaven for me!!

At the bottom of Glenn’s email is his signature quote:

“There is one good thing about Marx: he was not a Keynesian.” — Murray N. Rothbard
