Just When I Thought Gonzales Couldn’t Go Lower…

…he astounds me by openly stating, “[aggressive interrogation techniques, AKA, torture] may be necessary in the future. And by disclosing it, means you take them off the table and they can never be used again.”

First of all, such behavior should never have been on the table, and when Gonzales ostensibly justified such actions in legal reasoning about as tortured (pun intended) as I’ve ever seen, he lost any moral high ground. (One might argue that he never had any, but that’s another post!)

Yeah, “they hate us for our freedom” alright.
