Today I reported for my orientation for jury duty. While I resented being told by the state that I had to put my life on hold for an indeterminate period of time in order to preform my “civic” duty, I was looking foreword to the experience. However, I was told I was “free to go” when I tried to explain to the judge the merits of jury nullification of unjust laws.
