John Elway on Terrorism

The idea of a former professional football star propagandizing on behalf of statism should come as no surprise. I am a great fan of college football, but one thing I have noticed is that almost all players eagerly adopt the military mindset that underlies the game (don’t they “attack the defenses” of other teams, “throw the bomb,” etc.? Is anyone aware of any pro footballers who embrace libertarian/anarchist principles.

On the other hand, as I watched this bit of statist fear-mongering, I found the supposed “eight signs of terrorism” to describe governmental activity. Doesn’t the state engage in “surveillance,” try to “gain information,” engage in “trespasses,” acquire destructive supplies, and engage in questionable “funding” activities? It even stages “rehearsals:” just last week, a fire drill was undertaken in the building in which I had a doctor’s appointment!
