Jesse Trentadue Stands Up to the Bullies of Government

Some of you might be familiar with the story of Kenneth Trentadue, and how he was murdered in federal prison in 1995. Janet Reno’s people tried to say he committed suicide by hanging, but the photos say otherwise. (The photos in this link and the link that is shown on the site are quite shocking.)

What the feds did not count on happening was that Trentadue’s brother, Jesse, an attorney in Utah, was not going to buy the lies from the Department of (In)Justice and Janet Reno. He has pursued this case, even as the bullies from the DOJ (or DO[I]J) have harrassed him and threatened to imprison him and worse.

Just as Cindy Sheehan and others have faced down Bush on the war, Jesse Trentadue is facing down the feds as he pushes for the truth.

Paul Craig Roberts has written a number of articles about this case, and he points out that apparently Kenneth Trentadue bore a resemblance to the alleged “John Doe #2” of the Oklahoma City bombing, and that he was killed after the feds tried to beat a confession out of him.On a related note, Jesse Trentadue ran track for the University of Southern California when USC was dominating the collegiate track world. I saw him run at the 1968 NCAA Track and Field Championships which were held at Cal-Berkelely that year. (I was just out of ninth grade and was wowed by some of the world’s best track talent that performing at Edwards Stadium that weekend.) Jesse was a three-time All-American and one of the best middle-distance runners in college at that time.
