It’s War, War, War at the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony

In accepting his Nobel Peace Prize, Al Gore declared the following:

“It is time to make peace with the planet,” Gore said in his acceptance speech that quoted Churchill, Gandhi and the Bible. “We must quickly mobilize our civilization with the urgency and resolve that has previously been seen only when nations mobilized for war.”

I find this very interesting and terribly ironic. Gore is calling for wartime measures, and we all know what happens during war: all freedoms (except the “freedom” to worship the state) are curtailed or eliminated altogether. His is a call for violent dictatorship, and nothing else.
