Not mine, but of course, he is not in the military. The United States and the Philippines have reached a ten-year defense agreement. Does this mean the Philippines will come to our aid if we are attacked? Of course not. But it does mean that the United States will sacrifice blood and treasure if the Philippines has a conflict with China. Agreements like this ought to serve as a warning to young men to stay out of the military so they don’t have to unnecessarily risk their life. But since the American national religion is the worship of the military, few will be telling them to take heed.
