Of course not! To understand the wage gap between the genders, we must understand the role of opportunity cost (which is explained in the beginning of the video). Furthermore, there are socio-biological reasons which explain the glass ceiling, the disproportionate number of Nobel Prize winners, etc. (see 27:00). This lecture was given at the Econ Club from Loyola University, New Orleans.
