Is Pork worse than war?

Apparently so, at least according to a number of leading fiscal conservative/taxpayer watchdog advocacy groups. These groups are having a press conference to denounce the pork the Senate is adding to the “emergency supplemental bill.” Of course, the pork is wasteful, unconstitutional, and immoral, but a small percentage of the bill is spent on pork, the largest item in the bill is a 70 billion dollar appropriation for the Iraq war. So where is the fiscal conservatives’ outrage over the government’s continuing to spend billions on a war we where told would pay for itself?
