US Special Forces pride themselves on being problem-solvers in open-ended situations, on being leaders not followers, and on being aggressive not meek. They think of the rest of us as being meek followers. They say this explicitly in this video. They could not be more mistaken. The remaining population contains huge numbers of problem-solvers, leaders and aggressive persons. They just do not join the armed forces and go into the elite branches of those forces. They direct their capacities in more peaceful directions.
The special forces speaking in this video as representatives of their group don’t seem to realize that they are followers. They are the tools of the powers that send them into battle. They have chosen to be these tools and followers. So do most people who get jobs in the peaceful sector of life. What differentiates the special forces in the violent sector is their willingness to kill under orders.
