Iraq Before and After Its ‘Liberation’ by the U.S.

Iraq before and after 2003 is a large subject, too large for a single blog. But since the U.S. is threatening the same for Iran, it’s urgent to understand what Americans inflict on other peoples when the U.S. yells “national security” or “nuclear threat” or “existential threat to Israel” or “9/11” or “military option” or “freedom and democracy” or “grave threat” or “weapons of mass destruction” or “mushroom cloud” or “300,000 American dead” or some other propaganda slogan, and then starts a war. America’s heart, its very nature, its aspirations, its rights, and its goodness are all severely threatened by its own nutty politicians and commentators urging the country on to war. But take a look at what such wars do to those under American missiles, bombs, rockets, machine guns, strafing, and shelling.

Here’s a web site with photos arranged in a short slide show of about a dozen slides. YouTube has a number of videos, such as this one. It has several graphic images of blood and severe wounds, so it’s not for all.
