In the Spirit of Christmas, Sen. Blumenthal Calls for UPS Refunds

Weather held up some UPS deliveries past Christmas. There are no guarantees for ground service. Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) urges UPS to refund the post-Christmas deliveries.

Why not urge people to mail their packages earlier next time? Better still, why not keep out of this matter entirely and let people sort this out for themselves? Must people be insured after the fact for every trivial mishap that’s construed by establishment politicians who are aspiring populists as some sort of damaging incident?

Or, in the spirit of Christmas, why not be charitable toward UPS and recognize their problems? Why turn a mishap into a matter of money?

The ridiculous Blumenthal obviously has his reasons for trying to make political hay out of something that’s none of his business.

UPDATE: Ever attuned to the hypocrisy of our masters, an e-mailer asks “How come no demand for refunds for the failure of the democrat’s Affordable Healthcare Act to deliver on time?”
