In Defense of Some Geezers

Paul: It is interesting that so many of the WWII “geezers” pride themselves for having risked their lives on behalf of the war effort, but will not risk their government-welfare attachments! I was only ten years of age when WWII ended, but as my daughters insist on calling me a “geezer,” I shall propose an alternative  approach. What about a group to be called “Geezers Who Love Their Children and Grandchildren More Than They Do Their Welfare Attachments”? We might find their numbers to be comparable to those parents who love  their children more than they do the war-system!
