Improper Use of Drugs Killed Whitney Houston

Improper use of drugs killed Whitney Houston. In her bloodstream were cocaine, marijuana, Benadryl, Xanax and Flexeril. The latter two are prescription drugs. Xanax is the brand name for alprazolam, which is an anti-anxiety drug that is widely misused. One of its many adverse side effects is drowsiness. Flexeril is a brand name for cyclobenzaprine, which is a pain killer. It too causes sleepiness. Even Benadryl causes drowsiness.

There are media shows that laud the many extraordinary successes of Ms. Houston, but they downplay her signal failure, which was to die at under 50 years of age by misusing these drugs. Only one in many millions is going to achieve her success, but a great many more are going to replicate her failure and kill themselves with drugs, be it a 100% death or a partial loss of their capacities. Misuse of alcohol is even more widespread.
