I’m a Lazy Bum (Compared to This Guy)

Jason Jewell, head of the Department of Humanities at Faulkner University and adjunct scholar of the Mises Institute, is pursuing a seven-year plan to read the 60-volume Great Books of the Western World series, and is beginning with the additional Gateway to the Great Books (another ten volumes).  Here’s the plan, along with links to the table of contents for each series. Having made this commitment public, he no doubt feels more compelled to carry through with it. He is blogging about his reading every week. This from a guy who has an enormous teaching load and a big family. If he can do it, any of us can, and yet here I am blogging about it instead of joining him.
