I’m a Dangerous Man

Over at HNN, Ralph Luker lists what he considers the ten most harmful books of the past two centuries. My Politically Incorrect Guide to American History is among them. I guess a certain type of person would consider it harmful to remind people of the Virginia and Kentucky Resolutions of 1798, which have had a grand total of one book written on them in the past 100 years, or to express skepticism of the official tales of American wars, or to dissent from the Official Version of the Lincoln myth. (When pressed as to why a book that more or less repeats standard libertarian thought would be considered so dangerous, all Luker can do is fall back on more of this League of the South nonsense, which of course has not one whit to do with the book itself.)

The whole thing is borderline hilarious, though, is it not? (Thanks to the estimable Roderick Long for the heads up, and for sticking up for me here.)
