If you don’t overeat you have nothing to fear

Latest shot in the state’s war on obesity is the Keystone Report, an FDA-funded study aimed at “helping consumers manage their caloric intake” when eating out. As Radley Balko points out, things like the Keystone Report and New York City’s program to monitor the health of diabetics, rest on an expanded definition of public health and logically must lead to increased state control of our behavior.
