Apparently so, if his new call to leave Afghanistan is to be believed. He calls it ‘Blood for Nothing’ and he most definitely has that part right. Seems a different tone than his demand last month to have the Taliban go ahead and kill a captured American soldier. There are three possible explanations, in my mind: 1) Peters is reading LRC, and actually learning something; 2) Prole Media has recognized how the public really feels about our useless, wasteful, and illegal occupations abroad, and is trying to salvage readership; or 3) US policy is going to change and state media tools, just as they paved the way for government-desired murder and theft in 2001 and 2003, are now paving the way for drawdown.
