I think the main issue in the last election in November ’06 was to end the war. Congress has been unable to do that because the president won’t sign any bills that would allow that to happen.
That means that to end the war did not require a super-majority in both houses but simply a tie vote in either house.
The clueless MSM have missed this point for two years and allowed the the Democrats to trade blood for the White House.
