I Hate Bush All Over Again

How sickening to see Bush on television promoting his lying tome. It’s like watching Ted Bundy whining that he didn’t do anything wrong, but buy my book. To take just one of many examples, Bush told Matt Lauer on NBC that Saddam Hussein just wanted the world to believe he had “WMD,” and that was why he had claimed to have such weapons, and had not surrendered to Bush’s threats. First of all, WMD is a propagandistic aggregation designed to associate WWI-style chemical weapons—which Hussein had had before the first US war against him—with nukes, which he never had. Hussein was telling the truth when he said he had no WMD (during the reign of Bush II, and he did not, at that point), and indeed he had invited in the UN inspectors to prove it. They only left when Bush announced that he was going to shed blood, and they better get out or they would be killed too. Today Bush has the blood of hundreds of thousands on his hands, but he’s OK with that, because his religion justifies mass murder, if anyone refuses to bend the knee to God’s holy people and their holy Leader.
