Karen:  Your blog reminded me of the numerous TV commercials promoting one type of government-allowed drug after another (why they bother advertising such messages to us when only a doctor can get them for us is another question). After seeing these pro-pharma commercials, we are treated to a chain of commercials from law firms, encouraging people to join in class-action suits to recover for injuries (e.g., heart attacks, kidney failure, birth defects, death, etc.) brought on by taking various prescribed drugs. I wonder if Homo Boobus will ever catch on!
