How To End the Army’s Traumatic Brain Injuries

I tuned into the middle of a story on NPR today about the Army having a shortage of qualified doctors to treat the traumatic brain injuries of soldiers (about 150,000) received while fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. But instead of training or recruiting more doctors, how about stopping our troops from needlessly getting these brain injuries—end the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Not only would doing so save the brains of our soldiers, it would save the taxpayers about $2.5 billion a week.
