‘How Ron Paul Became a Libertarian’

That’s the topic of a talk I’ll be giving to the monthly meeting of the Palm Beach County (Florida) Libertarian Party next Monday, July 16. I suspect there will be a good number of young people there, so I thought I’d talk about some of the literature that influenced both Ron Paul and myself, such as Henry Hazlitt’s Economics in One Lesson, The Law by Frederic Bastiat, What Has Government Done to Our Money by Murray Rothbard, The Road to Serfdom by F.A. Hayek, the writings of Hans Senholtz, Leonard Read, and other true “classical” liberals.
