Waking up to the news that some deranged person killed at least 14 people at a movie theater is utterly depressing and disgusting.
Partway down in a piece about the sad event, however, was this truly bizarre line:
“President Obama was notified about the shooting by homeland security adviser John Brennan.”
What?
Let us recall all the “experts” who mocked as conspiracy theorists those who warned about “Homeland Security” morphing into a kind of monolithic, police state organization unconstitutionally taking for itself tasks it has no business being involved in.
