Duh.  That’s the conclusion of the very establishmentarian Foreign Policy magazine.  The sole purpose of “Homeland Security,” says the magazine, is to loot the taxpayers for the benefit of politically-connected businesses and individuals in the congressional districts of the most powerful members of Congress.  I pointed this out four-and-a-half years ago in a LewRockwell.com review of James Bennett’s book, Homeland Security Scams.
