Surprise, I know. But even for Heritage, this reads like a press release from the Pentagon. Not an unconventional thought even hinted at anywhere. The standard narrative is simply repeated. “We can’t let our guard down even for a minute!” reads one of the comments, typically. The war in Afghanistan must go on. Guantanamo must go on. The Patriot Act must go on.

The comments are interesting, though: Even some people who visit the Heritage website are evidently skeptical of the fourth-grade War on Terror agitprop. (Thanks to Kevin.)
