Bush Treasury secretary Henry Paulson of Goldman Sachs threatened corrupt or gullible congressmen with revolution (and said the government was making plans to feed the people–ha!) if his firm and its allies did not get quadrillion-dollar bailouts. Everything changed when Obama, whose largest donor was Goldman Sachs, came to power, of course, and appointed GS-ally Tim Geithner as Treasury secretary. (Thanks to Justin Raimondo)
