Bill:  It’s hard to believe that Warren’s father, Howard Buffett, was an “Old-Right” (read “libertarian”) congressman from Omaha for a number of years.  He distrusted government regulation, the war system, and was generally akin to Sen. Robert Taft’s thinking.  Murray — along with others — had great respect for him.  Warren’s thinking casts strong doubts on those who believe in a genetic basis for character.
