In 1929, said “The Maestro” in Ayn Rand’s 1966 book Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal. Here’s his quote describing the cause of the 1929 stock market crash: “The excess credit which the Fed pumped into the economy spilled over into the stock market — triggering a fantastic speculative boom.”
I guess that was before all those Asians started saving their money (the cause of the current crash according to Greenspan).
