Government Wants Supine Employees Only

Talk about the truth at any stage of your studies, and you are expelled from the opportunity pool at the Ministry of Truth.

The Memory Hole will help, but Big Brother knows what you put there, too.

This offhand admonition from on high has profound implications. Aspiring international relations students who are burdened with hundreds of thousands in student loans are being told that they will have no professional future unless they perform a self-administered frontal lobotomy (I know, I’d rather have a bottle in front of me anyway, right?). The Leviathan is guaranteed that, throughout its ranks, no one will question authority — or torture, or rape, robbery, fraud, corruption, ad infinitum.

Reminds me of the epigraph from John Stormer’s 1964 book: “Treason never prospers, what’s the reason? For, if it doth prosper, none dare call it treason.”
