Government School Gauleiter Guilty of Power Abuse

A government school apparatchik has decided to punish Illinois teenagers  for the perceived sins of the Arizona legislature. Highland Park High School’s championship girls basketball team will not be allowed to travel to an Arizona tournament because the trip “would not be aligned with our beliefs and values,” said District 113 Assistant Superintendent Suzan Hebson.

I wonder, to whom does the “our” refer? Ms. Hebson apparently doesn’t like Arizona, so she takes it out on helpless kids supposedly in her care? Since when is a government school even teaching “beliefs and values,” much less doing anything about them? I hear they have anti-bullying classes: perhaps Ms. Hebson might enroll.

This foul-minded prank reeks of a petty, petulant political stunt, born of anger and jealousy and  perpetrated by a termagant twit. Ms. Hebson  is grossly abusing power she shouldn’t have in the first place. Let’s hope the champs leave her on the bench and hitch-hike if they have to, so they can play in the tournament.

In the meantime, you can write Frau Gauleiter Hebson a kind, courteous note here. And maybe we should consider boycotting Illinois, which is more corrupt than Arizona by a long shot (as Ms. Hebson has amply demonstrated).

UPDATE: A reader advises that this is not the first time the radical Hebson has thwarted parents’ and students’ rights. Apparently, she went into this line of work so she could use her power to inflict her agenda on the innocent young.
