Government Maintenance in Maryland

That wall of water that engulfed rush hour traffic in Maryland today came courtesy of a break in a huge water main run by the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission. That should give pause to people who now want to turn even more economic decisions over to governmental bodies.

Despite the power to command revenues through taxation and other coercive means, the government has leaky water pipes and other messes that remind us of government’s record.
