Good News For a Change!

Congrats to the hard-working patriots at the Tenth Amendment Center! They’ve scored a huge win against the NSA in Michigan: legislators there passed “a law that arguably cuts the NSA off from local water and electricity. There isn’t a known NSA facility in Michigan, but the law’s author says it sends a clear message with a ban on state and local officials, including law enforcement and public utilities, cooperating with federal agencies that allegedly collect personal data without legal process.”

As Mike Maharrey, spokeman for the Tenth Amendment Center, says, “It’s encouraging to get the first one over the hurdle. In politics there’s a lot of copy-catting.”

Indeed. Here’s hoping your state and mine will mimic Michigan and protect us from the NSA, to my mind the greatest threat against liberty in all history.
