Good Men Doing Something Against Evil

The Feds will persecute-sorry, prosecute Ross Ulbricht, the genius “accused by the federal government of running the Silk Road ‘dark web’ site on the Internet, …on Monday, January 5, in New York City.” Apparently, some folks who love liberty have taken a page from Our Rulers in not letting this crisis go to waste.

The heroic Jim Babb, he who has long opposed the TSA and famously called for slow-downs in its already monumentally slow lines when it first began photographing us naked, is among those exploiters. He’s plastering telephone kiosks around the courthouse where Mr. Ulbricht’s kangaroo trial will proceed as well as handing out leaflets on jury nullification; this presentation of the project emphasizes that juries are free to convict the law, not the “perp,” in victimless “crimes.” You can join Jim’s efforts in person if you’re near Moscow-on-the-Hudson, or you can donate to defray expenses in the spirit of the Founders: “we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.”
