Why was Illinois governor Milorad “Rod” Blagojevich targeted for destruction’by the feds, in a clear violation of the separation of powers? Obviously, he stepped on some important toes. Did they belong to  Barack or Rahm? In any event, after he was tossed out as governor, in a quickie hearing, how has Rod reacted? Far from retreating into his shell, he’s gone on every possible TV show, earning money from many of them. The federal prosecutor tried to stop it, but a judge said that Rod had a right to earn a living, and since he is funny and charming, he is a natural for TV. Tonight he is on Celebrity Apprentice. I’ve never watched a Trump show, but this one may be an exception, if only to bug the feds.
