From the Emergency Room

Writes Mirand Sharma, MD:

I agree in that I couldn’t help but notice that there was no discussion about the Federal Reserve. I’m truly laughing out loud when I watch the clowns (and I use that word literally) on TV shout out  their proclamations regarding their fiscal schemes.

On the other hand, as I was working yesterday in the ER, I could actually see fear in people’s eyes as they are ever more dependent on the federal government for their day to day needs (Medicare, Medicaid). While I completely abhor government involvement in  healthcare, and I do believe these programs need to be phased out, I know the clowns won’t let that happen.

It seems that the only way to “reset the system” is with the imminent dollar collapse, but that’s a heck of a way to reset the system. And I can tell you for sure that there will be many people, particularly the chronically ill and elderly, who will die when the dollar crashes.

Is there any hope for optimism? Of course, I support  Ron Paul—but is he our only hope?
