‘Friendly Fire’

It was a Pat Tillman moment. We were told that Linda Norgrove, the British aid worker captured by the Taliban, was killed when the resistance detonated an explosive vest they had forced her to wear. Now it turns out that she was blown up by a US hand grenade that had been tossed in her general direction during a PR-driven rescue attempt. (Thanks to Robert Groezinger.)
