Foreign policy infallibility

I share Bill Barnwell’s view. I’m stunned at how many traditional Catholics can think the U.S. government wicked for all the various things it does domestically, but consider that same government’s foreign policy essentially infallible and beyond question. The number of traditional Catholics who accepted the propaganda package we were fed on Iraq — the one no Middle East expert believed for a second, and the one the rest of the world considers us vaguely insane for blithely accepting — was disappointing.

It could have been much worse, though. Thankfully, The Remnant consistently had the courage to be antiwar.
