I just read a story about a couple of Amtrak trains that arrived more the 20 hours behind schedule. Passengers said they arrived, “tired, hungry, and stinky”. Ha! How’s that for service!
Anyone who has had the unfortunate experience of using public transportation knows what an unpleasant experience that is, and now we’re getting the same treatment in air travel. In Newark hundreds were inconvenienced and a criminal was manufactured for rope passing.
If we can’t defeat body scanners and “mind readers” in the rigged justice system, then I want to see the invisible hand rise up with some affordable air charter services . If it doesn’t, then I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s due to onerous FAA regulations sabotaging the market. I don’t travel often. I know nothing about the air travel business, but, like myself, there must be a significant market that is seeking an alternative to the airport prisons and dilapidated, poorly run trains.
Unfortunately all of travel, medicine, energy, and food, are being consolidated into a totalitarian nightmare.
I don’t mean to sound so defeatist. Keep up the good fight exposing them, Lew!
