More on Downing Street Memo type behavior of fiddling with intelligence reports so as to make a case for attacking Iraq. The new details concern a later intelligence report on WMD. In my opinion, the details that are accumulating support judicial action against a number of officials who conspired to attack Iraq and then did so. Shouldn’t the category “war criminal” include those officials who intentionally lie in order to get their government to attack another country? Don’t they also breach their oath of office in doing so?
